The Reader Working Agreement is a 'living document' and may be updated as required - e.g. change of incumbent or your circumstances. A copy should be held by the Reader and Incumbent and also sent to The Warden of Readers Sally Buck.

Mandatory Safeguarding'Safeguarding Everyone'Readers are required to complete C3 Leadership Module Training. Readers who have not attended a leadership safeguarding full day course in the diocese within the last 3 years are required to complete / renew this training.It is necessary to register on the E-Learning site and undertake the online training modules prior to a one day face to face training session. Please read the guidance on the Lincoln Diocesan website:You may complete all modules in one session - so as to befamiliar with content for the 'test assessment' section at the end (multiple choice answers) - but modules can be done individually by logging in each time. You need to allow about an hour if done in one session. At least 75% pass mark required - to be able to print off certificate of completion at the end.Anyone without a computer - best to contact someone with a PC or laptop who can help you register and do the training online. Printer also needed for the certificate. It is possible to download and save as a pdf copy and email to someone with a printer.

Reader Safeguarding Training DaysTo enable all Readers to have the opportunity to ensure that their safeguarding training is up to date, training days for Readers are to be held as follows: Stow and Lindsey Archdeaconry Wednesday 29th November 2017St Hughs Church Hall, Ashby Road, Old Brumby, Scunthorpe DN16 2AG Boston Archdeaconry Saturday 27th January 2018 The Cotton Chapel, St Botolphs, Boston Training events will be 9.00am arrivals for 9.30am start, and should finish 4.30pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.For bookings please either contact Warden ally Buck or Linda Wass. If you are unable to attend these Reader Training Days please contact Sally. There may be spaces on other days you can attend.Please note: The mandatory on line training module should be completed prior to attending the face to face day training.
